Install
Run the installer and follow the prompts. Verify any Windows security notices with staff.
Sign in
Open LYNXTracker and authenticate using your Aerolynx VA pilot account.
Prepare and fly
Connect your simulator and select a flight or import your SimBrief plan.
Review and submit
Check the flight summary and complete the available PIREP workflow.

- Unsigned Windows QA preview; must be signed on an authorized Windows Azure Artifact Signing machine before any public distribution
- Windows-native tray/SimConnect/X-Plane, restart recovery, pairing-key persistence and real phpVMS staging regression flights remain to be tested
- This update does not add direct VATSIM/IVAO automatic prefile form population beyond the existing pilot-review workflows
- The portal-only patch does not upgrade the phpVMS server module or its update endpoint
These notes can be updated by Aerolynx VA staff as new builds are released.

Do I have to use LYNXTracker to fly with Aerolynx VA?
Ask your VA staff which ACARS clients and flight reporting methods are currently approved.
Can I use LYNXTracker with X-Plane 12?
X-Plane 12 support is being tested. Check the simulator compatibility status and latest beta notes above before relying on it for a flight.
What should I include when reporting a problem?
Include your LYNXTracker version, simulator and aircraft, steps to reproduce the problem, any error text and relevant logs. Avoid posting passwords or private account information.
Where can I view flights using other ACARS clients?
The Aerolynx VA Live Map provides a shared view of supported flight sources. Select "Live Map" above to view the current map.
